My Chemical Romance – Helena

Posted by `jiehao on July 10, 2006

Long ago
Just like the hearse you died to get in again
We are so far from you

Burning on
Just like a match you strike to incinerate
The lives of everyone you knew
And what’s the worst to take
From every heart you break
And like a blade you stake
Well I’ve been holding on tonight

[Chorus]
What’s the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Came a time
When every star fall brought you to tears again
We are the very hurt you sold
And what’s the worst you take
From every heart you break
And like a blade you stake
Well I’ve been holding on tonight

[Chorus]
What’s the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Well if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Can you hear me?
Are you near me?
Can we pretend
To leave and then
We’ll meet again
When both our cars collide

[Chorus]
What’s the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Well if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Hey people, it’s the end of World Cup 2006. And the champions this year are…(no prizes for guessing)…ITALY. Well, the Zidane thing…it really came as a shock to me…first, he scored the penalty goal. I was damn happy for him that point of time, because my prediction of him scoring the goal came true. Then, he got injured, and I got damn sad…he almost couldn’t play…and suddenly he went to do some REAL stupid to Materazzi, headbutt him somemore…I don’t know what to say at that point of time really…

On a side note, ZIDANE WON THE GOLDEN BALL!!! Cannavaro was just SO close to getting it, but Zidane got it anyway. I’m still proud of Zidane for this fact mans.

Well, it didn’t really mattered to me on who won, because I was neutral throughout the whole game, only supporting Zidane. Cannavaro played well throughout the game, especially one of the steals he made, it was very nice.

Woke at 8 this morning, and had breakfast with my Dad before going to school. Had PE, played floorball and we drew, 6-6. My team was actually losing at first, but through sheer determination and a lot of luck, we managed to catch up and drew the game. I scored one very lucky shot, it kinda just rolled into the post.

Chem pt, i kena stung by NaOH again…and NaOH stinks like hell, and its so slimy…ewww…

Maths was full of laughter with Mr Chan as usual, but I can’t exactly remember anything except for the fact that we will leave VS ‘brighter’. This kinda sums up my day, I woke at 630 after a nap from 4. Feeling slightly more perked up now.

And yes, my mood is rather high today even though Zidane made that stupid mistake. Nopes, it got nothing to do with World Cup. And I’m not telling anyone what it is about =).

EDIT: I almost forgot, Jarren and me wanted to blog an ‘I Am Singaporean’ post. Jarren said we should record it, but I decided that recording would sound horrible with our handphone, only my mp3 would work well. So here goes.

I have too many nicknames to say, unless you want the one which my family calls me by. I am a Chinese, but I am definitely not racist. I grew up in a Hokkien family, and my Mother Tongue is Mandarin, and I’m proud of being a Chinese. I think I have weird friends, well, teens these days are actually all weirdos to speak of.

I live in a 5-room HDB point block with my family, and I own a bicycle. I was a neighbourhood school kid, but I managed to make it into the school of my dream, Victoria School. Entering the school as a sea cadet, I passed out as a 1st Sergeant. I even made it into the Red Shirt Community, and now I’m a passed out Senior Peer Support Leader.

I wouldn’t have made it this far if my parents did not allow me to. Thanks Mum and Dad for just supporting me spiritually in whatever I do.

In 2-3 years time, I’ll be serving a country as a soldier-in-training. I will do my best and benefit out of NS, so I can be prepared to protect my country, or even lay my life down for it. I will suceed in my desired career, because I believe I have the ability.

I am Ray, my name is Wang Jiehao. I am a Singaporean. So say we all. So say we all.
