Fallout Boy – A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More "Touch Me"

Posted by `jiehao on July 14, 2006

I confess
I’m messed up
Dropping “I’m sorrys” like you’re still around
And I know you dressed up
“Hey kid you’ll never live this down”

And you’re just the girl all the boys want to dance with
And I’m just the boy who’s had too many chances
I’m sleeping on your folk’s porch again, dreaming
She said, she said, she said, “Why don’t you just drop dead?”

[chorus]
I don’t blame you for being you
But you can’t blame me for hating it
So say, what are you waiting for?
Kiss her, kiss her
I set my clocks early ’cause I know I’m always late

Write me off
Give up on me
Cause darling what did you expect
I’m just off a lost cause
A long shot, don’t even take this bet

You can make all the moves
You can aim all the spotlights
Get all the sighs and the moans just right
I’m sleeping on your folk’s porch again, dreaming
She said, she said, she said, “Why don’t you just drop dead?”

[chorus]
I don’t blame you for being you
But you can’t blame me for hating it
So say, what are you waiting for?
Kiss her, kiss her
I set my clocks early ’cause I know I’m always late

I’m just always on
You said you’d keep me honest
You’re always on
But I won’t call you on it
You’re always on

[chorus]
I don’t blame you for being you
But you can’t blame me for hating it
So say, what are you waiting for?
Kiss her, kiss her
I set my clocks early ’cause I know I’m always late

Always…

I set my clocks early ’cause I know I’m always late

A random convo between Hwee and me, hahaha. Stupid dickhead, I’m gonna kill him on monday, “that’s it man”.

Wednesday had Physics mock practical, it was preety easy actually. Got my answer within the range according to Calvin. MT, it was I Not Stupid Too, hahaha, preety nice show. Emo ending, not to mention scandalous principal and Chinese teacher.

Yesterday was xiong during ss, and Mdm Kwok just loaded us with a HELL LOT of assignments for the weekend…neat huh? MT Miss Tan left early for oral exam, so I played Bingo with Hwee, Kenn and Chaox, funny things you do when you’re bored.

During Chinese tuition, borrowed my tuition teacher’s son’s guitar as I said earlier on. It was preety nice to play, other than the fact that the guitar is abit too soft.

Today, oooohhhh the weather outside is frightful, but the umbrella is, so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, LETS TAUPOK, LETS TAUPOK, LETS TAUPOK. We almost had Sontipat and Renhao as our target practice. Too bad, we didn’t carry out the plan.

BEFORE THAT, Mr Chan collected President’s Challenge funds, for the postcard. He forced Jarren to pay up $40. After that, poor Jarren went to toliet to cry over his loss. He only stopped crying after like 15 or more minutes, and returned to classroom.

Rain was very heavy, so heavy that it just suddenly SPLASHED into the classroom, and Izzat’s side had to quickly close the windows. What’s worst, the rain was so bad that 4Dians had to use their umbrella to shelter themselves from it. Here’s evidence of the phenomenon.

Okies, English was slack. After school was sleepy. Back home was bad. And know what, the 5th string of my teacher’s son’s guitar spoiled. I have to buy a new set of string to replace them before I return the guitar next week.

And know what, I SAW KELLY ON THE NEWS!!! It was about the RGS and Japan life science exchange programme. I saw her for those momentary one or two seconds, her face was on the first screen, so I’m damn good to actually spot her twice!!!

And people, I have to confess this, Kelly Lua Jie Ying is the chio-est student to be featured on national TV, and she must be damn proud of it. You can feel the star factor even though it was just for those one or two seconds. Kelly, next time you become a world-class dancer must remember me, the guy who spotted you on TV.
