Okay, back to the topic at hand. CNY was rather dead for me I would say. I was at home for all 3 2 days of CNY. It’s more like I had to because my Grandma is living in my house, and apparently she’s the eldest among her sisters. Well, actually it is better this way that I have to move around lesser. Just that I didn’t get to go to my maternal Grandpa’s house in the end. Collected a really large sum by the first day, and yes, I’m more than contented to get how much I got this year. And this year, I know that my angpow money will not be lost somewhere in this galaxy (no, I didn’t misplace last year’s money, it’s just that I used them to fund something and I never got it claimed back).
So I didn’t really do much during the CNY holidays actually, other than slacking my time off, playing GTA, mass convo with either the OG or the CG, chatting with several others, watching the Firefly Dreams (direct translation from Chinese) last 2 ep on DVD, etc. I snacked pretty much actually, and it was nice having my cousins’ company on New Year’s eve as well as on Day 1. I have to treasure my time with them now before I might actually get too busy with JC.
So anyway, Tuesday was quite productive I would say, because I really did work! I managed to finish the Bio mindmaps on tutorial 2 which I was previously too lazy to do. I managed to finish whatever I can in the tutorial itself. I managed to ATTEMPT the AP GP tutorial (yes, I wasn’t able to do it in the end…stupid AP GP…). I managed to better grasp the Chem redox chapter (after taking almost 3 hours staring at my tutorials and notes), and yes, I think I’m quite able to balance the equations for alkaline and neutral reactions (still trying to figure out acidic reactions). So yes, Tuesday was definitely a good day.
So yesterday it was back to school. Lessons were pretty alright I would say. Ok, maybe not for a particular tutorial, and another particular lecture. DAMN, someone almost broke her own record during lecture, when she had like 1 minute more to succeed? Eugene and I were feeling sorry for her.
The CG went to Macs for ice-cream outing after lecture. Guang Yuan surprisingly tagged along, after I persuaded him to, and yes, he finally showed the devilish side of him. Beware when Guang Yuan smiles at you. Had lots of fun talking about different stuffs, and suaning Dominic, and try pronouncing every syllable of something with an F (as suggested by Janice).
Headed back to school and met up with the OG20 crew. Then I went for guitar class, with only 4 J1s available. Ok lah, at least I managed to learn something out of it, once again. Stayed back after guitar to accompany the canoeist, and Ben and me played the guitar, and I played bridge a little. I had a winning streak which wasn’t broken at all (HA CHRISTOPHER, TAKE THAT).
Today was nice for the whole day. Bio lecture was nice to attend because I had Weng Hao beside me, and we were discussing about the stuffs taught by the lecturer. It was nice to relate Bio to Econs directly (i.e when they said all other factors kept at the constant optimum, I used the term ceteris paribus).
During GP, Weiqing almost gave me a heatstroke man!!!
And Econs was really grueling, considering the number of new graphs we had to learn and draw. And a nice statement made by the lecturer, “You have to love graphs to love Econs.” I asked Mr Chan before the lecture what he got for his promos, and he told us to ask the other teachers, because they would know. This gives us a chance to ask Mr Lee questions during tutorial, and ask if we can go his house bai nian, =D.
And Bio was arrrgggghhhh…the practical made many of us giddy. Imagine having to count every single cell in its length and breadth, and staring at the microscope for so freaking long doing measurements and other stuffs…it’s madness I tell you. Nevermind about Bio…I shall persevere…

So, things to note about 07S13, the wonderfully crazy class. Guang Yuan may for some reason start dancing and singing Hips Don’t Lie, and then shout out “Shakira Shakira Sheena na Sheena na” or sing to “My heart goes ’sha la la la la’ ’sheena na na na’”. Wenghao will be singing all our class’ theme songs, like True Colours, Smack That, etc. (Apparently, Guang Yuan has replaced me for True Colours) Dominic’s dirty jokes, something to be noted for. Yes, you may add in anything you feel like.
