Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Here we go oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
We got problems
We don’t know how to solve them
Everywhere we go, we got some skeletons to follow
We got bagage you know we’re gonna drag it
Everywhere we go, for everyone to see in the
Broken hearts parade
And I’m putting my heart out on display
There’s no mascarade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band starts up and they’re playing a song
Dressed in black and we’re singing along to the
Broken hearts parade
I’ve never been better than I am today
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
You got a question
How do we get it started
I got an answer, let go of your heart and
Love it, live it, leave it and get into it
If you wanna start it, this is how you do it, in the
Broken hearts parade
And I’m putting my heart out on display
There’s no mascarade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band starts up and they’re playing a song
Dressed in black and we’re singing along, to the
Broken hearts parade
And I’ve never been better than I am today
I used to lie awake at night and
Wonder when she’s comming home
It used to be so hard to wake up
Every day
The broken hearts parade
And we’re putting my hearts out on display
There’s no mascarade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band starts up and they’re playing a song
Dressed in black and we’re singing along, to the
Broken hearts parade
And I’ve never been better than I am today
March on to the sound
The beating of a broken heart
Step with the rythm you found
To the beating of a broken heart

Yes, by I’ve just bought Good Morning Revival last Saturday, isn’t that cool? =D. So as you can see, this song is about how glad a guy is to break up. He is so happy about it that he announces it to everyone. I only like this song because it’s really catchy.
So Saturday was the announcement of the ODAC results. Headed to school to meet Typhoon at 8am, and the thing started at 9+. We played Captain’s Ball, and though Typhoon lost to Whirlwind, we later on managed to beat the instructors in both of the Instructors vs Trainees match (instructors claimed that we drew, but nevermind =D). Yes, trainees unite, HAHA.
So then it was capture the flag, and everyone had to draw their own flags, and later on try to steal other teams’ flags while trying to bomb them. It was chaotic, but very fun of course, haha.
Then we played some game by starting out to pass straws to one another, then blow a balloon and burst it, then join the stick balloons to make a path for us to cross. In the end, we joined all the bubbles from all the groups to form a big hoop.
So after the lunch session, it was the revelation of the results. Yes, we were all real nervous, such that Ms Ng said some of their hands were cold. And after opening up the letter, I realised that I wasn’t in. But I was alright with it, because the days spent together with the ODAC family in the 4 days of OLC meant more than anything else to me.
Thank you VJ ODAC for these wonderful 2 weeks with you guys.
Nothing much about yesterday, except that Yan Cheng kept to his promise and trained with me for jogging. Thanks alot dude, because somehow it’s always so much easier to run with someone else.
As for today, it’s a pretty productive day (with the aid of Nescafe Original that is). GP was really fruitful, because we learnt the stuffs needed to tackle compre questions, which would definitely help us. I TRIED to do the Chem Test despite I just read up the Atomic Structure topic last night. 3rd period PE was good, I managed to do something at least.

And just in case you needed an intellectual joke, here’s one from the GP notes:
A panda walks into a café. he orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air.
“Why?” asks the confused waiter, as the panda moves towards the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.
“I’m a panda,” he says, at the door. “Look it up.”
Sure enough, the waiter finds an explaination. “PANDA. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves.”
No people, punctuation is important, especially for sentences like “A woman without her man is useless“. Fill in the punctuations and you can interpret it in different ways.
