SUM 41 – Walking Disaster

Posted by `jiehao on May 4, 2008

I haven’t been home for a while
I’m sure everything’s the same
Mom and Dad both in denial
An only child to take the blame

Sorry, Mom, but I don’t miss you
Father’s no name you deserve
I’m just a kid with no ambitions
Wouldn’t come home for the world

Never know what I’ve become
The king of all that’s said and done
The forgotten son

This city’s buried in defeat
I walk along these no-name streets
Wave goodbye to home

As I fall…

At the dead-end I begin
To burn a bridge of innocence
Satisfaction guaranteed
A pill-away catastrophe

Our own mission nowhere bound
Inhibitions underground
A shallow grave I
Have dug all by myself

And now I’ve been gone for so long
I can’t remember who was wrong
All innocence is long gone
I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief
Where I belong

A walking disaster
The son of all bastards
You regret you made me
It’s too late to save me
[You regret you made me
It's too late to save me]

As far as I can tell
It’s just voices in my head
Am I talking to myself?
‘Cause I don’t know what I just said

[And she said]
As far as where I fell
Maybe I’m better off dead
Am I at the end of nowhere
Is this as good as it gets?

And now I’ve been gone for so long
I can’t remember who was wrong
All innocence is long gone
I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief
Where I belong

A walking disaster
The son of all bastards
You regret you made me
It’s too late to save me
[To save me, to save me, to save me, ...]

["It's too late"]
["It's too late"]

To save me, to save me, to save me, to save me

And now I’ve been gone for so long
I can’t remember who was wrong
All innocence is long gone
I pledge allegiance to a world of disbelief
Where I belong

A walking disaster
The son of all bastards
You regret you made me
It’s too late to save me

I will be home in a while
You don’t have to say a word
I can’t wait to see you smile
Wouldn’t miss it for the world

I will be home in a while
You don’t have to say a word
I can’t wait to see you smile
Wouldn’t miss it for the world

Rebellious son, fault of who?

And I pretty much haven’t blogged for three weeks, because so many damn things just crop up to eat up my weekends…that I can’t even spend one hour to do some proper blogging, so I’ll just post up some of the highlights of these few weeks. But first up, let’s sidetrack a little to another two prehistoric encounters with roaches…

The first happened just last week if I’m not wrong. I was off to wash my bottle before I fill it up and leave for school, then I spotted a cockroach near the sink, beside the cutleries. It saw me and got a shock and started running, so I took the bottle of Shieldtox and sprayed at it like there’s no tomorrow. It immediately got so shocked that it crapped (or that’s what I though it was since it was a watery trail of black stuffs). It crawled through at least half of the kitchen and still remained alive. I don’t know it’s outcome, but all I know is that I’ve done my part in trying to kill it.

Another just happened moments ago. I was out in my living room, where I just looked into Ondre’s bowl of water, only to find the vermin inside, dead, drowned. Dumb if you ask me.I hope Ondre didn’t drink any water from there.

Back to the issue at hand.

HNF has had pretty fun activities these few weeks. First up two weeks ago, we had a rolllerblading session! It was suggested by Dolly and Amelia, and we just carried it out. I think the juniors really enjoyed themselves blading (and falling), though Guan Hua was a real idiot by cursing me all the way.

As for that Saturday, we had our Odyssey which was rather crippled by the number. Anyways, we had our PT (by Zhao Chen the muscleman), then we hiked down to the Lagoon for our lunch. Pretty cool thing which we can seldom do.

Last Wednesday, we had our Wild Wild Wet, which ain’t very wet, but rather, it was messy. Dog and bon…with chicken thighs, Guess the Food, Telematch, Food Relay, and the Food Dodgeball, all these game were a waste of food, and not a waste of time! I believe all the juniors had alot of fun!

As for Saturday, we had our Amazing Race, aka Journey to the Center of the Town. Stupid grandma had to accidentally reveal one of the locations to the J1s. That’s why I say he has no brain at all. Anyways, we travelled all the way from school, to T3, to town, and we ended at Novena. I managed to buy myself a pair of flip-flops, and try Yami Yogurt from Novena.

Wednesday we had our VJC Sports Day. It would’ve been real boring if not for the company of my class. A few of us from 07S35 took part in the pushball competition, and well, it was real rough, especially with the Draco team cheating and the blind old Grandma accusing the wrong team of a foul. But it was all in the name of fun so it doesn’t really matter. But well, it’s a really violent game, and Han Chen got squashed by the big ball a few times.

James dressed as the Phoenix’s ‘chicken’ for a while and was sweltering in a flood after just a while. Shows how hot the weather was. But anyway, all guys did at the end was two mass dances, before we quickly zhao. And by the way, Phoenix got last for sports day.

Thursday, we had a mini OG20 gathering at Beitris’. We met at AMK station and headed off to somewhere near her house to have prata. The prata was not that fantastic, and the service there really sucked, even Beitris complained about it. We headed to her house, where Kenbin and I had to carry her parents’ TV up to her room so that we could play my Wii. We didn’t play it all the way though. Beitris took out some lame game called ‘Ants in Your Pants’ and we had our time shooting ants into the pants. So after we left, all of us headed home.

And finally, we bought the DS lite for my sis’ 21st bday. It costs a bomb FYI…
