Westlife – Queen of My Heart

Posted by `jiehao on May 11, 2008

So here we stand
In our secret place
With a sound of the crowd
So far away
And you take my hand
And it feels like home
We both understand
It’s where we belong

So how do I say?
Do I say goodbye?
We both have our dreams
We both wanna fly
So let’s take tonight
To carry us through
The lonely times

I’ll always look back
As I walk away
This memory will last
For eternity
And all of our tears
Will be lost in the rain
When I’ve found my way back
To your arms again
But until that day
You know you are
The queen of my heart

Queen of my heart

So let’s take tonight
And never let go
While dancing we’ll kiss
Like there’s no tomorrow
As the stars sparkle down
Like a diamond ring
I’ll treasure this moment
Till we meet again

But no matter how far
[Matter how far]
Or where you may be
[Where you may be]
I just close my eyes
[I just close my eyes]
And you’re in my dreams
And there you will be
Until we meet

I’ll always look back
I’ll always look back
As I walk away
This memory will last
For eternity
And all of our tears
Will be lost in the rain
When I’ve found my way back
To your arms again
But until that day
You know you are
The queen of my heart

I’ll always look back
As I walk away
This memory will last
For eternity
And all of our tears
Will be lost in the rain
When I’ve found my way back
To your arms again
But until that day
You know you are
The queen of my heart

Oh yeah
You’re the
Queen of my heart
[Of my heart]
No matter
How many years it takes
[Queen of my heart]
I’ll give it all to you
Oh yeah
[Queen of my heart]
Oh yes you are
The queen of my heart

Many of you looking at this will be going like ‘HUH? Isn’t this like a very old song already?’, or people like Yongsheng who have no boyband childhood in primary school like be like ‘HUH? What song is that?’. But songs like this really bring back lotsa memories. That’s the reason for James and me singing these songs over and over again recently. And to think it all started with Bryan Adam’s ‘Right Here Waiting’

HEADLINES

I’ve been locked out of VCSD!!! Apparently I think the school server screwed up again. Here’s evidence that the VCSD screwed up.

Click on the thumbnail to see the picture. As you can see, they denied my access!!! That means I can’t vote for housecomm now. Damn!

Stupid VCSD…

This week wasn’t as bad as the previous weeks, for I felt less tired throughout the week and it was a rather enjoyable one I would say.

Ok, maybe not that energetic, as I was falling asleep in the gym on Monday during duty. But well, Amelia and Dolly were half-dead. Dolly started doodling the whole Boogie Woogie until it’s full of nonsense.

Tuesday PE was spent on basketball, as NAPFA was over.

Wednesday was a particularly happening day. I cycled to school in the morning so that I could bring my bike to school for HNF later on. It was a particularly scary ride, for I kept seeing flashes of lightning while cycling. If it rained while I’m cyclin…GGXXED. By the time I reached school, my whole uniform (including my long pants) were drenched, not with rain water, but with sweat.

After school, Yan Cheng and I went to attend a talk by a personnel of the IBN. Ok, I was like dozing off already, but at least I kinda realised that IBN was not my thing after attending the talk. So yeah, I guess I would be more interested in other fields of research, though my Dad uses quite alot of nanotechnology for his products.

After that, we went to the Economics Symposium in the PT, and we entered when AJC was presenting. Their presentation was not very fantastic I felt, and their Q&A was rather bad as they did not answer some of the questions directly, but well, competition stress messes up everything I guess. ACS(I) did not bad though.

After we left the symposium, we headed down to ECP for our HNF cycling, and met up with the rest at Bedok Jetty. Chilled there a little and took some photos, before we headed back. Then we announced the new EXCO. Congrats Adilah, Wei Song and Chee How for being accepted into the new EXCO.

Yesterday was the CO concert. So after Bio remedial, I relac a little at the gym, with Syamil there. Played the guitar for a while then did some Maths, before heading down to Parkway. I bought quite a lot of studd to speak of. Edmund’s present, Bones for Ondre, and finally, Good Charlotte’s The Chronicles of Life and Death. To think I’ve fretted for 3 years to buy this album, thank goodness ‘Gramophone’ existed, and I managed to have a demo on the CD, and after checking the very nice price, I decided to buy it! So I met up with Han Chen and Yuhan, where they bought flowers first, then we went for dinner and headed back to school.

The CO concert was not bad, though I preferred last year’s VS CO concert. Sat with the S35 peeps, and we cheered for Siyuan at the start of the concert (so we’re effective the last bunch of people to cheer at the legal timing).

We gave Siyuan her flowers during the intermission, and after going to the soccer loft, Yap Heng, Edmund and me spotted some really suspicious looking people wandering in the school, and looking for ‘basketball’. We managed to keep them away the loft.

And at the end of the concert, Edmund and me walked all the way to Mandarin Garden to take bus. There was a higher chance to get seats if we took from there, so yeah.

So that’s the end of my week. I hope the VCSD will be up soon.
