Ok, Screw the Song Title for Today

Simply because I really don’t have any song to fit my moodless mood now. Yeah. I shall try to sum up the important events of these few weeks as tersely as possible.

Siyuan’s birthday was on Monday 9th June. I met up with Edmund at Parkway to buy her present, and with some twist of fate we actually bumped into a few people. We headed down to Yapheng’s house anyway. Waited for Valerie pretty long at the park connector, and he quickly headed to Yapheng’s and prepared our gift.

Upon the arrival of the very surprised birthday girl, we cut the cake, had dinner, played wii, played foosball and played mahjong. Then I walked Deborah all the way to her house before I headed home.

The next two weeks were pretty much routine. Going to school to mug, playing basketball once in a while, etc (not electron transport chain).

The study stayover at VS was fantabulous! We mugged, we laughed, we played, we bathed, and many more lah. It was very nice to be around these brothers again, despite the very very hot PSB room, and not to mention, roach-infested.

Sunday 15th was 07S13’s BBQ gathering! It was not that bad because we had a turnout of 8 people including Kai who came and left. And the cool thing was, Daniel actually drove his Dad’s car to there!!! Anyways, Wenghao met at my house, and we cycled down to the BBQ place, then went Parkway to buy other stuffs, and met Janice there. We cycled down to ECP at our pit, and met Daniel there, then started the fire and cooked. The 4 of us were there cooking and eating for about 2-3 hours, until Dominic came, then Lynette and Mabel appeared soon enough. Daniel headed off and Kai arrived and left. We played Indian Poker to finish the food, then headed home.

Common Test is now over.

GP: Weird essay I did, damn difficult compre paper
Econs: Well, I wrote a lot more than usual, but I really don’t know if I did well or not, as I was writing brainlessly
Bio: Erm, manageable?
Maths: No no no…it’s seriously screwed up
Chem: CYK is going down for setting this MCQ!!!

And we had a 1day/night chalet at Costa Sands Downtown East on Friday. Waited at Downtown East for the peeps to arrive, like pretty long. Then we headed over to the new shopping mall where we played arcade and watched Zohan. Zohan was really funny, but really has a lot of sick parts. Then we had dinner at some ulu foodcourt near Aranda Country Club, where Edmund and I shared a plate of Roti John. We headed back to chalet, and stayed there and played for a while before heading out at night Margaret, Julia, Melvin and Yapheng, where we just talked all night long. We headed to Macs for a while for some nightsnack, then headed back and talked till dawn. Then we went back to take our stuffs, and some of them splitted from us, while I went with the rest for breakfast, and we had a short arcade session again and headed home after that.

Short and sweet, shall see if I got time to post photos. If not I’ll just do it tomorrow.

I believe many of us are feeling this way too, so sick of our lives, that we wanna just waste it all away, we just wanna just screw life somehow and find our own way of living. Maybe it’s because our lives are usually dictated by someone other than ourselves? I believe I’m the master of my life.

Just on a random note, while going to the loo just now, I heard some guy at the getai singing Fei Yu Qing’s song, the one that goes ’shu shang xiao niao qing~~~’. I swear I almost burst out into laughter while in the toilet!

So anyways, I think I’ve really burnt out the whole of this week, as I haven’t done any academic stuffs, except a little bio today. Monday to Wednesday chalet, Thursday and Friday SAT mugging, and yesterday was my SAT, so yeah…

Anyways, I went to MP library on Friday to study with xiaomei. Being the sleepyhead she was, she didn’t sleep enough the night before and rushed down to MP library. As soon as the library opened, I rushed to the top floor and found a table. While most people were very nice, I happened to meet a very obnoxious old man, but nevermind about him. As soon as xiaomei arrived, we went over to some sofa and started with studying. At around 12+ PM while I was just finishing like the 6th section, someone passed me her calculator with a message encoded from ‘KOR, I’M HUNGRY’. So we headed to Parkway for lunch.

After lunch, we headed back to the same place, and Shannon Seah happened to sit there later on. And so we chatted a little with him after he finished his trial SAT papers. We left the library at 4+ and went home.

Yesterday’s SAT was…well…don’t know what to say. I was in the same room as Mark Oliver (23rd batch council pres) and some 07A11 guy. I would say I managed to finish the paper, but I still left some questions blank because I really couldn’t do them. I met Zi Jie at the first level, and we took MRT together. Apparently, we met Yijin later on, and so 3/5 of our SV group were together.

So I guess that sums up everything.

And I would like to say that Old Airport Road market has this store which sells really YUMMY currypoks (curry puffs) at a really affordable price! Potato, sardine and yam curry puffs are at $1.10, while the black pepper chicken puffs cost only $1.40. My dad and I bought them at around 2+ in the afternoon, and they remained crispy till the night! Worth buying. For those of you interested in buying them, you can find them near the famous kway chap stall!
